The Cause for the Beatification of Irene Mary Taylor is the campaign for Irene Mary Taylor, the grandmother of Cometan, to be beatified and then canonised by the Roman Catholic Church. The cause was begun by her grandson, Cometan, on 18th February 2020, not five years after Irene's death. The cause has yet to be officially adopted by a Catholic bishop, after which an investigation into Irene's life when ensue during which time the candidate will be given the title of Servant of God.
