Positive elements:

• The provision of an web-based registration process is fairly unique to Colombia and demonstrates its closeness to dynamism.

• There are provisions in place for making distinctions between the recognition of churches, denominations, federations, confederations and associations of ministers.

Recommendations:

• In order to become dynamic, establish greater differentiations between existential recognition and legal registration and establish a recognition agency that works independently of the government.

• Resolve some of the minor issues with inappropriate informational requirements.
